HISTORY
Sun-Woong was born in Korea as the youngest of the family. Ever since he was little, Sun-Woong expressed a love for hip-hop and rap. He immersed himself into groups like Run-DMC and Cool Crush. However, his father expressed discontent with his future. Where as Sun-Woong wanted to rap, his father wanted a stable job. From their differences came an abundance of family tension. Things were so drastic that Sun-Woong ran away from home in several instances. He finally relented to his parent's wishes in the end and continued with his studies.
As a brilliant and studious student, he graduated from Stanford University with a major in English Literature and a minor in Creative Writing. When he was preparing to find work, he received word from his friend who was ailing from cancer. It was his friend's request that Sun-Woong continued with music. When his friend died, Sun-Woong turned to music once more. He began underground rapping until he met Mithra Jin. It was soon realized that Mithra and him both had a rapping style that complimented one another. From there, they met the DJ Tukutz and formed Epik High.
When the outbreak began, Sun-Woong was in the middle of releasing his solo album. It was a month before the release that things began to take a downward spiral. Many of the stars Tablo had come to know were falling apart around him. Through out his life, he'd suffered from bouts of depression and this was no exception. While it was the lowest point in his life, he began to disappear behind the pen and paper. His solo album was pushed aside. Epik High disappeared into the studio for months. At the beginning of May, he emerged from the studios with a proposal and an abundance of potential songs, albums, and collaborations.

October 03 — The Big 4 World Tour starts.

December 06 — Epik High's early Christmas Party. Covered Lee Hyori U-Go-Girl. And it rocked.
December 10 — Assisted injured during the attack in Seoul.

January 31 — swapped abilities and temporarily obtained darkness manipulation.

PERSONALITY
All in one, Sun-Woong is a depressingly dark, adorably vibrant, rapping nerd. While incredibly studious, and artistic as a whole, he is a contradiction in himself. He often goes through periods of depression throughout his life. Even so, he writes and raps about jovial optimism. In all honesty, Sun-Woong only wants to be a good person, to be forgiven for his wrongs, and to help influence the world of the corruption that infects it. He is a respectful person and speaks with honesty and sincerity. Despite how intense he can be, he has a mischievous, humorous side of his own kind of humor.

- When he produces music, he often does it with the bare minimum of clothing on to reduce rustling in the background.
- Often goes in hiding when producing music. He loses contact with most people during this period and commonly forgets to eat.
- Tablo has his own radio segment at night on KBS. He calls it Tablo and the Dreaming Radio.
- Often covers other groups songs during the noraebang (karaoke) session of his radio show, most notably "Lies" by Big Bang, "Rock U" by Kara, and "So Hot" and "Nobody" by the Wonder Girls.

- Tablo's previous jobs include: coffee house, snack bar, and a private tutor. He was fired from being a tutor because he taught his students about mutiny, bankruptcy, and tried to start a revolution.
- Tablo was the one who created the name "Epik High" for the group.
